Hi Kara!  Yes!!  I agree that there are multiple forms of intelligence.  Howard Gardner describes seven dimensions:  Spatial, Linguistic, Logical-mathematical, Kinesthetic, Musical, Interpersonal, Intrapersonal, and Naturalist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theory_of_multiple_intelligences ).  Also, Perkins speaks of neural, experiential, and reflective intelligence (http://otec.uoregon.edu/intelligence.htm ).   Both these pages are quick reads.  So, IDI scores should include a social/historical/current events component in addition to critical thinking and things like that.  Thanks!  Todd
