Help please?

As I read chapter 8 of Weird Things, I was struck by the connection made between the conceptual schemes and Kuhn. I spent a lot of time digesting Kuhn for the last assignment and the connection did not even remotely cross my mind when I read about conceptual schemes. Even after reading how Schick and Vaughn make the connection, I do not get it.  If anyone out there has a better understanding of this and pities me enough to try to explain, I would really appreciate it!
