yeah im not sure exactly how a news company decides what to put in the news, but i'd imagine that they do actually have some sort of fact-checking group of people to make sure the stories are at least somewhat close to accurate. but then again, being accurate and concise probably doesn't sell nearly as well as being sensational and dramatic, so therein lies the tension-ridden problem for media bias
